Sony has revealed the first details about its PS Vita exclusive Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified at its Gamescom press conference.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified is set between the original Call of Duty: Black Ops and this year’s upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops II and will feature complementary single player objective-based Operations, along with Survival and Time Trial Missions.

The mulitplayer mode of Declassified will feature 4v4 multiplayer action across popular modes such as Free-For-All, Kill Confirmed, Team Deathmatch and Dropzone all tailored for the Vita. Players will also be able to utilize classic Call of Duty multiplayer features like Care Packages, Challenges, Create-a-Class, Killstreaks, Perks, Prestiging, XP and more.

Featuring Near technology for multiplayer load-outs, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified will also allow gamers to send friends a boost; and use the Touchscreen for cooking grenades and melee attacks.
