Borderlands 2 "Strictly limited-edition" Top Trumps packs on offer to those pre-ordering in the UK

2K Games and Top Trumps have partnered to support the UK’s Indie game stores by creating a strictly limited-edition version of the collectible card trading game. Featuring 30 of Borderlands 2’s most outlandish weapons, the Top Trumps ‘Guns Guns Guns’ pack will never be for sale at retail and will only be available when the game is pre-ordered.

“Only 5000 packs of cards will be distributed across the country and will be available on a first-come-first served basis to those who pre-order Borderlands 2. Once they’re gone, they’re gone so I’d encourage people to check with their local Indie store to see if they’re stocking the cards”, said Ben Lawrence, UK PR Manager 2K Games, “We want to turn everyone in Vault Hunters!”

“The Limited Edition Borderlands 2 Top Trump cards are a fantastic way for the Indies to give something extra to their customers and we’re delighted to offer this exclusive pre-order incentive to our customers”, said Paul Langley, Leisure Software Divisional Manager of GEM Distribution, who will be responsible for supplying the cards to the UK’s Indie stores.

Borderlands 2 will be available internationally on September 21st, and in North America on September 18th.
