ToeJam & Earl relives the funk on PSN and XBLA this November

SEGA has today announced that the Sega Mega Drive/ Genesis classics, ToeJam & Earl and its sequel ToeJam & Earl: Panic on Funkotron, will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Store as part of the SEGA Vintage Collection this November 7th.

The original game sees ToeJam & Earl visit planet Earth, and after crash landing they need to find pieces of their spaceship scattered across the constantly-changing landscape. In order to return home to the planet Funkotron, you’ll need to gather up each and every ship part, while avoiding deadly hazards along the way.

The sequel, ToeJam & Earl: Panic on Funkotron, sees the alien heroes return safely to their home planet, only to discover that there were a couple of stowaways tucked away on the ship. That means you’ll need to round up all the rogue “Earthlings”, put them into jars and send them straight back home.

Both games have been reworked to include Achievements/ Trophies as well as full online co-op support. They will be available for download on PSN for £3.69 each, while on XBLA you can get both titles bundled together for 800 MSP.
